Ok so, when it comes to sports, like nascar or basketball, etc., i don’t know who to pick! I mean, what made you choose one team or player over another?
Well, I became a Cubs fan as a kid and I will tell you how. I watched them on WGN when I was young even though I was in the Seattle area, I didn’t get to see the Mariners on TV because FSN channels weren’t out yet and that left me with the choice of the Cubs or Braves. Well, the Cubs had an old guy come out and sing every 7th inning stretch and no fun drunk guy for the Braves so I leaned to the Cubs and their fans are awesome. Who else can go 100 years without a championship and not have their fans give up on them.

Just keep watching, and someone will click. A certain energy of a team, personality of a player, or even a color of the uniform. There are no rules. I follow the team from the town I grew up in, and follow teams my friends like.

I pick teams that are classy and play fair, usually a good, young team that will be better in future years. If you pick the best team everyone will call you a fair weather fan, but stick with your team and they will stop.

I honestly think the best way is to support your local team, theres just no other way. GAA FOR LIFE!!!!!! The best sport in the world.
(But yeah if theres no local team then what the first one said)
