i am learning french and am learning about categories of sports in french. I was wondering what sport aquatiques and sports nautiques meant. I know they are both in water but i want to know the difference between the 2.

aquatiques=acuáticos=acuatic
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquatic
SOMETHING DONE IN A BODY OF WATER -like swimming- (ocean, rivers, lakes, etc.)

nautiques=naútico=nautical
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/nautical
THIS INVOLVES NAVIGATION, that also can be at the ocean or any body of water.
