The Korean Sports University Taekwondo Demo Team performing at the Home Depot Multicultural Festival in Sacramento on 8/2/2008. The team was sponsored by Lee’s Korean Martial Arts Academy. It was a typical hot summer day in Sacramento and the performers were barefoot so walking on the blacktop was a painful experience. At the end of the show they cooled off in a large tub of water.

The team had to walk and stand barefoot in the parking lot in the hot sun. By the end of their performance, the whole team was suffering. The tub had been filled with ice for cold drinks so when the team finished, they all eagerly squeezed together in the cold water to cool off their burning feet.
