i get pissed off everytime i see nascar on sports center. I like every sport except for that one, i dont even consider it a sport.
I think their are sports fans and then there are nascar fans.

Not only Nascar, but hockey, baseball, and golf. I am a fan of mostly football and basketball, and a little bit of extreme sports, but those sports I named including Nascar should be taken off of espn.

Yes it should be. If it is going to be on sports center then I should be on sports center everyday. I drive in the middle of Chicago’s rush hour. Do people realize how hectic that is? I should get a highlight if that recreational event gets one. I am waiting for my sponsorship dollars.
Josh do you consider the national spelling bee a sport? Just because one competes doesn’t make it a sport.

Nascar is a sport. You compete to win a competition. Its a sport.
The Drivers are not athletes… but Nascar is a Sport. There is a difference..
But if they OVER-cover Nascar it does get old… I can’t wait for NFL season to start again.

The biggest problem with Sportscenter is the LACK of highlights and the excess of "Access Hollywood"-style garbage. I would rather watch a NASCAR highlight than watch a professional nobody like Skip Bayless rip LeBron James for the millionth time.

I like racing, but that fact that every car must look the same, feel the same, race the same, operate the same, sound the same, drive the same, etc.
You get my point. If everything is the same, where is the racing? Oh, so it’s all about the drivers. Then why do the drivers need the cars, just have all the drivers go out there and race 200 miles on foot then.
Racing is my machine versus your machine. Dodge vs. Chevy vs Ford vs Pontiac vs Toyota (now). I pray for the return to racing when the cars actually looked like cars, and the sports wasn’t so damn boring.
Restrictor plates? What’s the point in racing when you are not allowed to go faster than other cars or as fast as you can. NASCAR isn’t a sport until they take the training wheels off again. Bill France needs to grow a pair and get to racing again. Until that happens, get NASCAR off my TV and off of my ESPN.
