What kind of careers are possible with a sports and fitness management degree?

College athletic department, moving up to athletic director (hopefully) some day. Athletic director for a high school or school district. Facility manager for a health club, arena, stadium, or the like. Working in amateur sports (Olympic governing bodies like USA Boxing, USA Hockey, etc.). Working in the front office for a professional sports team. Working for a governing body for professional sports (like the NBA or the NHL).

Just a few ideas.

Honestly for most fitness jobs that don’t require you working at a local health club require a grad degree. If I were you, i’d go to grad school and apply for a job as a college athletic trainer. Not a ton of money but an awesome job.
