Can you play college sports AFTER you have already earned a bachelor’s degree?

I am graduating from an American university this upcoming May. If I wanted to go back and play a college sport, would I have to get another bachelor’s degree? Would it be possible to work on a master’s? Is it even legal to play a college sport AFTER you’ve already earned a degree?

With all due respect to my distinguished colleagues, the answer is certainly not the negative as suggested therein. College is a true experience of all durations and types, so I wouldn’t sweat the details.

i’m pretty sure you have to be an active undergraduate student, so if you take another bachelor’s you will probably be able to play.

We had someone here at the University of Iowa on the swim team while in graduate school. So evidently, yes. I think the determining factor is how many years of eligibility you’ve used up.
