I’m a professional photographer and often do team & individual photos for youth baseball, football, soccer, etc. leagues in my area. I always donate a percentage of sales back to the league. I’m confused on the tax law about this…is it deductible or not?
The easiest way to handle this is to simply forgo a portion of your fee up front. Revenue never received is revenue that’s never taxed. This works even if the league isn’t a 501 organization eligible for deductible donations and you don’t need to itemize to take advantage of it.
Are photography sales donations to youth sports leagues tax deductible?
What are some reasons for violence in youth sports?
please list your source please what do you feel are reasons for violence in youth sporting events these days?
People who just want to win.
What are your reasons for putting your child in soccer or other youth sports?
Mom’s and dads, why are you having your child play soccer? Is it for fitness, fun, to compete…? What are the main concerns and goals you have as your son or daughter starts youth sports?
My middle child plays soccer and adores it, he’s looking very forward to Spring season coming up!!! First and foremost we play for fun because he truly loves it, then of course the other benefits, discipline, learning team effort and working together for a common goal, exercise, healthy competition, and sportsmanship (which our league stresses). We are hoping our next one wants to play as soon as he’s old enough, but its something we would never push, we want them to choose an activity that THEY enjoy and therefore benefit from
What is the best age to begin your child in youth sports?
My daughter is close to being 4. What is the best age to get her involved in organized youth sports programs to gauge her interest and enjoyment of such activities?
the best age to start is when a child is ready, it varies ALOT. but for starters put the child in a sport that focuses on fun rather than competition. Show your child different sports and let her try them . If she likes it let her continue. Meet the coach talk to him/her and make sure he/she is what you want. If your child shows interest then let her try the sport and gradualy increase competitive level if the child wants too. good luck.
