I want to be a sports medicine physician when I get out of high school and college and I can not find a university in Louisiana that offers a program. I was looking at ivy league colleges, like Harvard, but it’s soooo expensive.
Information is below.
Is there a college/university in Louisiana that offers a sports medicine program?
I want to take Sports Psychology in university, what high school courses do I need?
I want to take Sports Psychology in university, i was wondering if anyone knows what courses I need.
I don’t know if it matters but I plan on going to a Canadian University.
If you want to take that you probably just need 4U english and 4 or 5 other 4U/M courses depending on what province you’re in. An exercise science may help but I’m not sure. I may have heard that you have to get your undergrad BsC in Psychology then go to grad school and get your masters in Sports Psychology.
Is the University of Florida the best sports University ever?
They are dominant in the big two college sports, holding the championships in football and basketball.
There all a lot better universities that are better than Florida at winning Championships. This is what their second football and first basketball championship. To say they are the best sports university would be jumping the gun alittle bit. For example the Nebraska Cornhuskers have over 30 National Championships along with being a great academic school.
What is the best Australian university for sports?
I am thinking of going to university in Australia for an undergraduate degree.
I would like to study physiotherapy or exercise and sport science.
My decision will be a bit based on the sporting outlook and area of the university I decide to apply for.
Which universities are best for sports? (Soccer, Aussie Rules)
I know University of Newcastle has a Gaelic football team are there any other universities like this?
What are the best areas in Australia near a university with professional clubs? (Hyundai A-League, AFL)
Thanks.
University of Wollongong is by far considered one of the best universities to go to purely because of its sports.
Academically, it isn’t as renowned or on par with other top universities, but the students choose it for the lifestyle. It’s facilities are excellent and abundant, it’s close to the beach, the blue mountains….basically every type of sport is accessible if you go there.
However, since you might want to study sport science, because of the no. students who pick UWollongong because of its sports environment, the university is actually well known in that area, and produces some of the best graduates.
University of Newcastle is pretty bogan; but that means yeah, it has quite a few sporty AFL, rugby players.
how hard is it to get into university varsity sports team?

About the first part:
You have to be very good.
My friend got on a remotely small sized school’s team and she was the second top shooter in the state. A guy who graduated from my school was the top goalie in the state, and he made a University team, but he still hardly played.
You have to be exceptional due to the other people going for those spots, as well.
Is it too late to join sports in university?
I’m 19 and I was never interested in sports in HS, but suddenly I’m wanting to try a lot of sports such as volley ball, racing, swimming, and whatever else I could try. Are most girls almost at pro levels once they go to college since most people start sports in HS? I really want to be part of a team and/or compete, but I’m scared it’s too late as I’m already in university (2nd year) and untrained. Did anyone START sports in university and what sport do you play?
its never late…go and enjoy the life…and play the game which makes u feel enjoy…dont compare with others to choose your fav. spots.!
