Sports betting: Rulers urged to intervene

Posted by admin on June 16th, 2010 and filed under sports betting | 25 Comments »

PAS today urged the Council of Rulers to intervene against the federal government decision to issue a sports betting licence.

While handing a protest memorandum to the keeper of the rulers’ seal Engku Ibrahim Engku Ngah (middle) at his office at the Istana Negara today, PAS vice president Mahfuz Omar said such a move would be detrimental for the youths.

“Football clubs and their players are idolised by youth so we are afraid that this will hurt the young,” he said.

He also said that the government’s argument that government regulated sports betting operations would curb illegal betting was unreasonable.

How do the online sports betting sites like the major ones profit?

Posted by admin on June 8th, 2010 and filed under sports betting | 6 Comments »

I dont see how the online sports betting sites profit money? How do they get there share? Other then usually having there own casino added to the site

Simply put:

You bet $110 on Team A.
I bet $110 on Team B.

One of us wins, one of us loses.

Let’s say you win. You win $100 profit, plus you keep your $110 bet. So you get back $210.

The sportsbook collected $110 from you plus $110 from me for $220 total. They only paid out $210 to you!

They made $10 and it made no difference which one of us won the game.

What sports betting sites offer good bonuses and dont have high minimum deposits?

Posted by admin on June 2nd, 2010 and filed under sports betting | 2 Comments »

I need a reputible sports betting site, with a good bonus that will allow you to deposit $50 or less to get that bonus. Bodog offers 10% so thats a no. Bet365 doesnt serve US residents anymore. And betus has a minimum deposit of $100 for the bonus so none of them work for me. THANKS FOR THE HELP

There are a whole host of sites owned by one company (Domain Holdings, INC) that have gr8 bonuses and a low min, deposit ($20). They also use random Visa processors that are not tied to gaming, so u can use gift cards or ur debit card from the USA and it should go thru. My favorite is AllPro.com. Now, you asked about sports betting, and I will stand by my belief that they run fair and good sports books. But their casino software and their poker software is another story… I think that the poker platform the run their sites thru is questionable at best and I don’t need an independent auditor to tell me their betsoft slots and their blackjack have been manipulated from the original software release to give the house more of an advantage.

AllPro.com will give u a free 7 bux for signing up. They offer reload bonuses all the time and if i make 2 $20 dollar deposits and lose, their is a link thru the cashier to request a bonus, I use it all the time and get free bonues of 5-20 usd. Signing up there is easy. If you do so, use me as a referral. My screen name is nutsinho and my email is djeremiahsmith@gmail.com
