I don’t want to take that weight gain stuff with all the sugar. And I realize you can only put on so much healthy weight within a given time. That said, if I desire to also maintain cardio and a low body fat, what "safe" and legal supplements are out there that might significantly help me put on some size?
Some stuff I take
1) Multivitamin (Centrum)
2) Fish Oil/Flaxseed Oil
3) Whey Protein (Optimum Nutrtion)
4) Creatine (Green Bulge by Creative Labs)
5) NO2 (White Flood by Creative Labs)
6) Amino Acids (Purple Wrath by Creative Labs)

I’m still researching fitness certifications, and I just came across the ISSA "International sports science association"
And was wondering does anyone know of them and the credibility of the certification they offer.
Thank you:)
It is just okay, but the ISSA, AFAA and the AFPA are not looked out with much credibility in the fitness arena…They have good content, but fitness pro’s haven’t really accepted them as they are online (used to be coorespondance) courses…fitness pro’s only give credibility to "hand’s on training" which is something that you need to consider…
If you really want the credibility factor and you have not yet graduated from college, get the NASM-CPT from the National Academy of Sports Medicine…it is the main one accepted by the major fitness centers such as Gold’s, 24hour Fitness and others…it costs a little more, but it is well worth it if you feel you need to be certified. The other accepted is the NCSA-CPT which is preferable but harder to get.
Once you have your Bachelors Degree, you will want to get your CSCS…It is the most difficult to get and the most respected certification out there…
I looked into the certification process several years ago to see if it would benenfit my business…the only ones that actually have benefit are the NASM, NCSA and the CSCS.
it apears that mark who answered the last question has probably never been in the british army.as i have.
there is a world of difference between professional sports training and british army training.
lets not forget that almost all army units around the world bais thair training on the british army’s.
army training is to create a compatent willfull soldier in the wright frame of mind. this envolves endurance training, cardiovascular, and heavy lifting. the goal is not to have a heavy brute soldier who cannot run,it is to get an exceptionally strong soldier that can lift his own bodyweight with ease and run for many miles with lots of weight.
allot of this training is to do with the mind as well as the body, and if the mind is willing the body will be to.
