Because I haven’t been involved in any sports team or extracurricular activity involving sports, and I keep on reading that they look for that. Is it really that important?
Hi Nina
We like to see sports/team activities. Marching band is just as good.
However, I cannot think of any time that we ever rejected an application because of failure to participate in organized team sports. 4 years of a useful foreign language is more important, by far.
im suposed to write a summary about a sports article and a diet/fitness article. but im not sure what exactly to write about regarding the sports. can someone help me?
im just not sure where to look for a decent article. and if i just type in ’sports article’ in to google im afraid it will be too vague.
Just type in google something like Sports articles,,,And find a suitable one .
I wanted to know what i can do with a bachelors of science fitness and sports. I would like to become a coach at some point after i`m done, but i am wondering if by anychance i can also become a teacher?
Personal trainer or fitness instructor come to mind. You might develop your own program and/or do research. Of course you could become a teacher in either the public or private sector.
I am currently 13 years-old and I am interested in becoming a sports announcer or sports reporter. Do i have to go to school for this? Also, where would i get my job to become a sports announcer?
Yes, go to college, take communication, broadcasting, public speaking and writing…
I want to add a friend as a co-manager to a yahoo sports fantasy baseball team, but obviously the season has started. Is this still possible? Thanks to everyone for any help.
Yes, you can. Just go into the main page for your team, click on "My Team" (red bar), click on team settings, and at the bottom is appoint co-manager.
what degree in college would help me the most if i want to become an athletic trainer on a profssional sports team? and how hard is it to get a career like this?
I noticed a lot of the college student-athletes that want to be coaches and/or trainers major in either Kineselogy, Sports Management, or Professional Recreation. Go on some college websites and look at the bios of some of the athletes and you can see what I’m talking about.
Good luck.
