what is the most accurate way to predict the outcome of a pro or college sports game?

Posted by admin on October 31st, 2010 and filed under college sports | 2 Comments »

What is the most accurate way to predict the winner or loser of a pro or college sports game? it can be just from a guy who is accurate most of the time or some kind of video game simulation. Just tell me the sport, and how to accurately predict the winner. Thanks

The prediction of a forfeit in the midst of an epidemic can be very accurate.

Otherwise, the knowledge of the players abilities and general current trends and any available history for both teams when they have played each other before all need to be considered. Maybe that is why the commentators seem to be constantly reciting statistical information.

The coach plays an important role too.

There are other key factors involved that the general public may not know about such as influence on the players by friends, family members and private events.

Being a sports collegiate or professional might mean they should "put all that aside" but focusing can be very difficult in a stressed situation even when the conscious thought is definitely on the game.

I don’t know of any fool-proof method to predict the outcomes but I manage to "guess" correctly a lot more than I get surprised.

If I were to place wagers on the outcomes I’d likely have just the opposite results, though! Funny how that works!

How does one start an online sports gambling business? Would this be easier than an online casino business?

Great answers ‘top contributors’ but none of you answered the question… What if the query was purely hypothetical or for a school assignment? For shame…

Here is what you would need to do… Get a license to operate a casino in a country where such is legal. Then go to the casino software people (supposing you have chosen one… I would recommend wagerworks, microgaming, or rtg) and buy the software they sell and a license to operate such software….

You will need a large server with loads of hard drive space and a backup system… A couple phone lines, a stellar internet connection, and a backup, and a huge amount of cash in a bank account…

You will need a way to process the deposits ur clients make, might wanna start by talking to visa and mastercard, and quicktender or neteller as well…

And then all you need are the clients… Which might be tough because the market is supersaturated… But if u are fair and honest and pay ur clients quickly, there is room in the marketplace for you…

Last of all is of tantamount importance to ur integrity… You need hardworking, industry savvy, employees; a couple cashiers, a few customer service reps and at least one technical guru proficient in cpu stuff and more specifically capable of learning bout ur newly purchased software…

good luck

What effect does the shifting of sports gambling lines have?

Posted by admin on October 25th, 2010 and filed under sports gambling | 3 Comments »

Specifically, what happens if you place a bet on a team when the points line is -5, and then the line shifts to -6? Is your bet now based on -6, or does it stay on -5? Does this differ with money lines or other types of wagers (total points, etc.)?

If you made your bet at -5, you get the bet at -5.

You get the bet at the odds when you made it.

(This changes for horse racing, but not sports betting)

Is sports interaction a good online sports betting site?

Posted by admin on October 18th, 2010 and filed under sports betting | 9 Comments »

I have won a decent amount of money over a 2 month period betting at sports interaction. I have not tried to cash anything out yet but i was wondering if anyone else has ever used them are they are pretty good site? I did somer research on them I no they had some issues while back just curious if any one has any input on them?

Well, Sportsinteraction.com is a well known site. I can’t imagine why someone who knows all of the sites doesn’t know these guys. I have heard that their operation has improved, but I will NEVER recommend them after how they scammed me! In fact, SIA is the very reason I started my first website. I didn’t want other sports bettors getting blindsided by SIA or some other two bit operation. The sad fact is that many of the most popular brands are the biggest scam artists out there! They don’t care about retaining winning players so they continually screw them over and get them to leave, often without paying. SIA doesn’t like when you win, and when I won I had problems. Prior to getting scammed, I did have some successful withdrawals, so not all hope is lost for you. I would never accept any bonus from them, as they like to invent new rules as they go. Agreeing to a deposit bonus is just opening the door for them to screw you over at will. I have a short list of sites that I recommend.

What are teasers in online sports betting?

Posted by admin on October 15th, 2010 and filed under sports betting | 4 Comments »

I see this term used a lot in online sports betting teaser betting. What kind of betting is this?

Mostly used in football. Bottom line is you pick multiple games, and get added points added to the teams you pick, but you have to win all the games. Because of the added points, the games look so good, it’s a tease.

For example, you might find the Packers -8 vs the Lions, and the Cowboys -7 vs the Redskins.

Well, you could do a 6 point Teaser on the Packers and Cowboys. Then GB is only -2, and Dallas only -1 (because you are getting 6 points). Looks tempting, doesn’t it?

Depending on the site will depend on the odds you give up on these types of bets. They are sucker plays… but I admit I will do them once in awhile.

How much does a loss prevention job at Academy Sports and Outdoors center pay?

Posted by admin on October 13th, 2010 and filed under sports center | 1 Comment »

I just got a job offer at TruGreen to be an aerator, and I just received a call for an interview for a position at Academy Sports and Outdoor Center to become part of the Loss Prevention team.

In order to figure out the best financial move, I am wondering how much they start at?

Your question is a little vague to answer it correctly.

What part of the country and what LP position??

If the position is a front end guard level you are probably looking at 8 to 10.00. If it is an undercover LP position, 10 to 12.00 to start and it depends on the cost of living where you live.

With LP you will have a career, with lawn work, not so much for the future.

Good luck

What is the legality of online sports betting?

Posted by admin on October 10th, 2010 and filed under sports betting | 9 Comments »

For the average $20-$300 per bet bettor, living in the U.S. Texas or Oklahoma betting on sports online. The casinos are available, but can someone face legal trouble for placing a wager? Or is all the blame on the casino? A little insight into the laws and current effort being put into these issues by law enforcement would be appreciated.

You wont face any trouble if you want to put in a sports bet online. Ive been betting sports for a little bit over 10 years and have honestly heard it all when it comes to the legality of sportsbetting. Ive never had a problem and neither will you. Good Luck
