I think it is the look on a kid’s face when he executes a play like he was taught & it works. Another rewarding thing is when I actually get them to listen to what they are told… instead of stepping on the foot of a team mate or staring into space.
I laugh about a lot of the things they do, but get a big lift when I find some kid actually listened to something I said. Getting a kid to think of helping his team instead of himself always gives one a sense of accomplishment. Every child wants to be the center of attention & directing them to do something that allows someone else to get the attention is counter to their instincts. That is why one must always look for a good block or defensive action to praise a kid for. Sometimes a kid will learn to praise the actions of a team mate helping to make a play & that is very up lifting.
Perhaps the most rewarding thing is to see the change in attitude playing a sport can induce in a kid.
What is the most rewarding thing about coaching youth sports?
Where is a website that you can bet on sports without betting money?
I saw several sites in 10/20/06 edition of the Wall Street Journal. You did not bet actual money, but made bets and you acquired points to use for prizes.

Is yoga good alternative to doing weights or normal cardio exercises or sports for fitness?
Is yoga good?
In a given week I run and lift and do yoga. Yoga, in my experience, can be the toughest work-out if done right. Variety in exercise is crucial to fitness. Yoga can provide that, I think, more than just doing weights or cardio. My advice is to mix it up.
Do you think anyone who exclusively runs or lifts weights is as physically fit as this guy?

Has a professional sports team perished together in an airplane crash?
Professional sports teams like the Raiders and Diamondbacks travel from coast-to-coast all the time. If one of these flights were to end in a nasty crash, the entire team would be killed. This would be extremely devastating. Has it ever happened?
The Superga air disaster took place on Wednesday, 4 May 1949, when a plane carrying almost the entire Torino A.C. football squad, popularly known as Il Grande Torino, crashed into the hill of Superga near Turin killing all 31 aboard including 18 players, club officials, journalists accompanying the team, and the plane’s crew.
On October 2, 1970 a Martin 4-0-4 aircraft flown by Golden Eagle Aviation crashed near Silver Plume, Colorado. It was one of two planes carrying the Wichita State University football team to Logan, Utah for a game against Utah State University
The Munich air disaster took place on 6 February 1958, when British European Airways Flight 609 crashed on its third attempt to take off from a slush-covered runway at Munich-Riem Airport in Munich, West Germany. On board the plane was the Manchester United football team, nicknamed the "Busby Babes", along with a number of supporters and journalists. 23 of the 44 people on board the aircraft died as a result of the crash.
Sabena Flight 548, registration OO-SJB, was a Boeing 707 aircraft en route from New York International Airport (later renamed John F. Kennedy International Airport) to Brussels, Belgium’s Zaventem Airport on February 15, 1961. The flight crashed during the approach for landing. All 72 on board were killed, as was one person on the ground. The crash was the first fatal accident involving a Boeing 707 in regular passenger service.[1] Among the dead were the entire United States Figure Skating team, who were en route to the 1961 World Championships in Prague, Czechoslovakia.
On October 29, 1960, a chartered C-46 plane carrying the California Polytechnic State University football team, hours after a 50-6 loss to Bowling Green State University, crashed on takeoff at the Toledo Express Airport in Toledo, Ohio after the left engine lost power. Twenty-two of the forty-eight people on board were killed, including sixteen players, the team’s student manager and a Cal Poly football booster.

Can I get venture capital for a sports betting system?
I’m a recent college graduate with a computer science degree. I’ve developed a computer program that very accurately predicts MLB games, with an average of 1.5 units of profit per day. I’d like to move to Vegas and be a professional gambler. The problem is that I just don’t have the funds for that right now.
Do venture capitalists venture all the way into the world of sports betting? And, if so, how would I go about hooking up withone?
Most programmer of such systems actually promote or sell it directly online through a self-set up website with testimonials and everything. Capitalist ventures are not that easy to convince thus they use their own marketing skill to sell the programmed system.
Whats the exciting thing about ESPN Sports Center?
I like to watch baseball and hockey on occasion. I have been a fan of the same teams for years. I also like to go to games when money isn’t tight. On the other hand, I have a few friends who are sports crazy. They watch ESPN Sports Center everyday and have those Satellite Cable extra sports packages. I think watching Sports Center is a bore. I mean, I am a fan of my teams but I do not know everyone on the team from year to year, nor am i sure when they are playing. I just like my teams and watch them at my convenience. My friends think ESPN and Sports Center is the most entertaining show in the universe, next to Fox Sunday Football. It really does not make any sense to me to want to know every stat of every player for every team and when they are playing. I have better things to do with my time. So why are people so addicted to this show?
You’re right it is not that entertaining. However, I love to watch it because I get to know every detail about what is going on in a flash. It is better than the Internet because they are allowed to have some stories on the air which can not be on the Internet. Also, they have the best analysts and get the best interviews.
What’s the difference between sports marketing and sports management?
What’s the difference between the sports marketing and sports management course in college?
Thanks.
I’ve never taken the course, but I do have a marketing background. Marketing involves communicating with consumers. In the case of sports marketing it involves get consumer to buy more sports stuffs….ie) tickets, jerseys, anything that has a logo or "brand" on it.
Sports management would involve contracts, dealing with talent, managing workers ie. sports talent etc.
